Melissa is a clinical psychologist who brings a calming presence and a strong background in Buddhist meditation to her therapeutic work. Melissa works with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She has a particular interest in assisting young people with emotional, behavioural and attachment difficulties. Melissa has experience helping people with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, difficulties in relationships, parenting challenges, existential concerns, end of life issues, and grief. Melissa’s overall approach is person centred, integrative and strengths based. She draws on a variety of therapies including psychodynamic, attachment-based, family systems, narrative, cognitive behavioural, somatic and mindfulness-oriented approaches. Melissa understands that seeking therapy can be a daunting experience and aims to provide people with a safe space to explore their concerns, their hopes for the future, and ultimately to experience greater self awareness and happiness in life.
